Capitol Attack Accused Raises "Fox-Made-Me-Do-It" Defense. Here's Why "Foxitis" Defense Will Fail

There are 2 primary methods psychological health problems converge with prosecutions: 1. proficiency to stand trial and 2. madness defenses. Here is a summary of those 2 functions of the criminal justice system and why a “Foxitis” defense is not a lawfully practical defense in a prosecution.

The truth that accuseds are stating they were motivated and prompted to violence by the relentless lies of Donald Trump as duplicated and enhanced by Fox News must provide the federal government, particularly the executive branch, every factor to control “news” outlets that market fiction as reality and ought to provide the legal branch factor to forbid “news” outlets from pitching fiction as reality when it prompts impending violent conduct.
