The Department of Managed Healthcare (DMHC) is looking for to employ a trainee assistant in the Aid Center’s Legal Affairs Branch. Under close guidance the trainee assistant will help with range of tasks that will serve to establish the trainee’s familiarity with legal correspondence, the Department, and its customers.
Conditions of Work
This is a part-time, short-lived, non-benefited, trainee position. Work in all positions with University Enterprises, Inc. depends on the shared permission of University Enterprises, Inc. and the worker. This indicates that either University Enterprises, Inc. or the staff member can, at any time, end the work relationship at will, with or without cause.

Responsibilities and Obligations
Help the Legal Affairs Branch personnel and management with the following:
- Input customer case details into a complicated customer relationship management database.
- Interact with customers to verify contact info.
- Evaluation and send interactions to health insurance.
- Maintain, print, and problem weekly and regular monthly analytical and narrative reports to lawyers and management along with supply summaries of information included therein to department leads and supervisors.
- Compose, modify, modify, format, and check a wide range of legal and administrative correspondence and memoranda.
- Establish efficiency in the operation of computer system devices and programs (such as the Microsoft Suite) and familiarity with the Knox-Keene Healthcare Service Strategy Act and other relevant laws.
- Perform other associated responsibilities as appointed.
Physical Requirements
Sit for prolonged durations; regularly stand and stroll; manual mastery and hand-eye coordination; remedied hearing and vision to regular variety; spoken interaction; usage of workplace devices consisting of computer system workstations, telephones, calculators, photo copiers, printers and scanners with or without an affordable lodging.
