Professor David Sklansky moderates a conversation with Emily Bazelon, personnel writer for the New york city Times Publication and author of the brand-new book Charged: The New Motion to Change American Prosecution and End Mass Incarceration, and Matt Gonzalez ’90, Chief Attorney, SF Public Defender’s Workplace. The New York Times said that Charged’s “combination of effective reporting with painstaking research yields an extensive assessment of the modern-day American criminal justice system that interest both the head and the heart.”
