Watch video of Christopher Slobogin providing “Contemporary Arguments in Bad Guy Justice: The Class Chooses” as part of the Osher Lifelong Knowing Institute lecture series. The course checks out a variety of the most popular subjects in criminal justice: the capital punishment, the madness defense, preventive detention, monitoring and other subjects connecting to examination of criminal activity and its penalty. The course will expose individuals to the standard concepts of criminal law and to constitutional teaching governing the authorities and adjudication of criminal activity. Christopher Slobogin, J.D., LL.M. inhabits the Milton Underwood Chair at the Vanderbilt Law School, directs the Lawbreaker Justice Program there, and likewise has a visit in the Department of Psychiatry.
