OPEN ATTORNEY POSITION FOR THE OFFICE OF CRIMINAL DISPUTE AND CIVIL REGIONAL COUNSEL IN PASCO (COUNTY) FLORIDA.

Tasks consist of, however are not restricted to:

a) Accepting, looking into, and preparing each case efficiently and expeditiously;-LRB-

b) Recommending and counseling each client relating to plea deals, customer’s rights and options, strategies, sentencing, appellate rights, and so on;-LRB-

c) Developing and preserving an expert relationship with each customer, household, witness, and court workers;-LRB-

d) Keeping open lines of interactions with customers and their households, witnesses, and court workers;-LRB-

e) Involving detectives, interns and other support personnel appropriately;-LRB-

f) Looking for assistance from specialists proper to the case;-LRB-

g) Demonstrating maturity and an expert demeanor at all times;-LRB-

h) Exercising sound judgment to achieve wanted results;-LRB-

I) Managing emergency tasks when needed;-LRB-

j) Attending and getting involved in training seminars, division conferences, and staffing sessions;-LRB-

k) Abide by all Regional Counsel policies and treatments detailed in manual including however not restricted to participation, punctuality and expert gown code.

Capability to:

Communicate efficiently and professionally with customers and staff Usage appropriate English grammar, spelling, and punctuation

Follow composed and oral instructions and treatments Exhibit sound judgment and good listening abilities Manage matters with stability and privacy

Strategy and prepare reports, correspondence, and charts in a variety of formats

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Juris Doctorate
