Job Supervisor – Social Justice Initiatives (The Center for Family Safety and Healing) Overview Project Supervisor – Social Justice Initiatives The Job Planner Supervisor, Social Justice Initiatives (SJI) handles project coordination of the NCH SJI Efforts that fall under the NCH Diversity and Addition Stand Against Racism/Stand for Health Equity tactical plan plan. The Social Justice Initiative aims to improve outcomes for children, youth and families impacted by the justice system, including kids of incarcerated parents and youth in, or at risk for going into the juvenile justice system. This position reports administratively to The Center for Household Security and Recovery and is accountable to their Vice President for the juvenile justice aspects of the effort, and to the Director of Healthy Area, Healthy Households (HNHF) for efforts connected with children of incarcerated parents. The planner coordinates activities throughout the effort, and helps in the advancement, application, and evaluation of programs, including essential partner advancement and maintenance of relationships. The position requires deal with the county detention centers, prisons, and correctional facilities, external community and faith-based companies, neighborhood and business leaders, management and administration. A Place to Be Proud Responsibilities What Will You Be Doing? – Takes part in developing, executing, and assessing Nationwide Children’s objectives, goals and metrics for SJI associated activities. – Manages SJI tasks – helping with cross-functional projects, constructing relationships, and setting objectives to attain wanted health, wellness, and safety outcomes for kids, youth and families affected by the justice system. – Assists in development of service plans, determining resource requirements, reporting relationships, timelines and success metrics for SJI. – Develops and maintains reliable working relationships with agents in the juvenile justice and correctional systems. – Collaborates with other members of the neighborhood wellness group and TCFSH personnel to promote coordination and combination of department initiatives. – Collaborates with members of the Neighborhood Relations team to guarantee coordination of SJI-related initiatives, particularly those involving neighborhood enrichment and engagement. – Develops reliable lorries of interaction across internal and external parties involved in SJI. – Supports VP, Director and Medical Director in developing, implementing, and assessing new interventions and collaborations related to neighborhood advancement that causes favorable health outcomes of justice involved families. – Contributes as required to supply technical assistance to external providers looking for guidance in replication of internal initiatives. – Represents the organization in pertinent and proper city, state and/or nationwide committees, as designated by VP and Director. – Exhibitions strong organizational abilities needed to implement change, to develop new programs and treatments, and to enhance processes. – Promotes the organization to the community. – Carries out other related tasks as assigned. Credentials Knowledge, Skills and Capabilities Required Education: – Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, organization, health administration or associated fields or equivalent degree/experience needed. – Demonstrated commitment to health equity and racial justice. Experience: – At least three years’ of experience in program preparation and administration and project management. – Previous experience in, or significant expert direct exposure to the criminal justice system. – Previous experience in establishing, maintaining and keeping an eye on job tracking and result reports. – Experience with grant writing, implementation and management. Abilities and Abilities: – Extraordinary customer care, settlement, and social relationship abilities required for interaction with contacts. – High level of effort, self-direction, and accountability for actions needed. – Skill in promoting multidisciplinary partnership, ability to serve as a facilitator and change agent needed.
