This ad is for a Career Service position located at 03 -0 Lake City Main Probation and Parole Office in Lake City, Florida.

Income Range: $21,53294 – $38,60218

INCOME WILL BE DETERMINED IN ACCORDANCE WITH CURRENT PAY POLICY.

SPECIFIC DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Recovers, translates and establishes analytical, financial and technical data into the various Wrongdoer Justice computer systems in accordance with Department Policies & Treatments. The incumbent helps professional personnel responsible for the guidance of wrongdoers in analyzing, analyzing and categorizing this information.
  • Utilizes independent judgment to analyze, verify and modify info from a variety of source documents from circuit and sub-offices into computer system accepted formats using video terminal equipment of the Management Details Systems (MIS), National and Florida Criminal Offense Information Centers (NCIC/FCIC) and local Crook Justice Details Systems (CJIS) and develops this information, utilizing standardized codes. Such source files include wrongdoer files, court orders, police records, consumption kinds, sentence structures, deal registers, cost of supervision payments and waivers, development reports and management and officer recognition data. Makes additions, changes or corrections to electronic transgressor records as required.
  • Transmits and obtains wrongdoer and candidate investigative details and interacts messages through Management Info Center (MIS), Florida Criminal Activity Information Center (FCIC) and National Police Telecoms Systems (NLETS) in accordance with Federal, State and Department Rules and Laws, Procedures and Laws. Analyzes retrieval replies to non-equipment users.
  • Answers inquiries from licensed personnel in Department of Corrections and other agencies relating to Management Details Systems (MIS), National and Florida Criminal Offense Details Center (NCIC/FCIC) and Criminal Justice Information System information.
  • Complies with all security regulations regarding personal and sensitive info. Maintains records of dissemination of details and finishes NCIC/FCIC validation reports.
  • Performs regular preventative maintenance of the equipment.

  • Ability to operate video and telecommunications terminals and other office equipment.

  • Ability to read and interpret state statutes.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Legitimate Motorist’s License.
