Women are the quiet voice in mass imprisonment, yet they are the fastest growing sector globally. By comprehending what leads females into the criminal justice system versus what leads males, we can start to address the silent voice and the needs of females in the system. Her self-motivated focus led her to establish and establish nationally reproduced programs; “The Donut Dialogues” and “The West Side Story” were formed to effect change for the youth and homeless members of the community.
