University of San Francisco law teacher Lara Bazelon stated that although Kamala Harris’ position on authorities body video cameras while she was acting as California’s Chief law officer was viewed as a “clever on criminal offense, centrist” position at the time, it was likewise a “frustration” to some. The argument surrounding cops body electronic cameras– which Harris supported however did not think must be obligatory for state towns– happened amidst outrage and discomfort over shootings of young Black guys by the cops. Bazelon talked with PBS NewsHour political press reporter Daniel Bush on day 3 of the Democratic National Convention, which is being held essentially this year.
