Our Organization and Mission:
The 5 Regional Counsel workplaces were developed by the legislature (Statute 27.511) in 2007 to supply legal representation to indigent individuals in essentially 3 classes of cases: 1) criminal dispute cases that the court grants the general public Defender’s movement to withdraw, 2) dependence and civil cases, and 3) particular statutorily licensed civil dedication procedures. Attorney Position– Criminal Defense in Ocala, Marion County
The Office of Criminal Conflict and Civil Regional Counsel, 5th District, is looking for one full-time criminal defense lawyer in our Daytona Beach, Volusia County workplace. This criminal position includes managing complete dockets of misdemeanors, juvenile delinquency, and felony cases in several counties and jurisdictions. The main goal of the lawyer is to prosecute at a high level and offer the most reliable and effective representation possible to our indigent customers. The Attorney will be needed to represent customers in different kinds of court hearings, to consist of jury trials, non-jury trials, movement practice, and any appellate filings which might be required, and ought to have the inspiration and capability to cover cases on several dockets.
