THIS ADVERTISEMENT IS FOR A CAREER SERVICE CRIMINAL JUSTICE INFORMATION TECHNICIAN POSITION LOCATED AT CIRCUIT 01 -3 FT. WALTON BEACH PROBATION AND PAROLE OFFICE

Salary Range: $27,04000 – $38,60218 each year

SPECIFIC DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Retrieves, analyzes and develops analytical, monetary and technical information into the numerous Criminal Justice computer system systems in accordance with Department Policies & Procedures. The incumbent helps expert workers accountable for the guidance of culprits in translating, evaluating and classifying this details.
  • Uses independent judgment to evaluate, validate and modify details from a range of source files from circuit and sub-offices into computer system accepted formats utilizing video terminal devices of the Management Information Systems (MIS), National and Florida Crime Information Centers (NCIC/FCIC) and regional Criminal Justice Information Systems (CJIS) and develops this information, utilizing standardized codes.   • Complies with all security guidelines relating to personal and delicate details. Maintains records of dissemination of details and finishes NCIC/FCIC recognition reports.
  • Performs regular preventative upkeep of the devices.
