POSITION DESCRIPTION:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR THIS POSITION INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING REQUIRED ENTRY LEVEL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Knowledge of the Department of Juvenile Justice Detention Services Manual, Federal and State guidelines and policies, and DJJ and center policies and treatments.
Ability to monitor personnel and youth.
Ability to physically manage and engage with violent youth.
Ability to work overtime hours in order to make sure personnel protection and keep security.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Preference will be offered to prospects with experience working in corrections or juvenile corrections or supplying care, custody and/or control of at-risk lawbreakers or distressed youth.
SPECIAL NOTES:
