Dr. Robert Agnew - Strain Theory in Criminal Justice - 5/6

Dr. Robert Agnew’s lecture provided at Eastern Kentucky University – College of Justice and Safety in 2005 entitled “Strain Theory in Criminal Justice”.

Dr. Agnew went to Rutgers College from 1971 to 1975 where he made his B.A. with greatest honors and greatest difference in sociology. He went on to get his M.A. in sociology, along with his PhD in sociology, from UNC at Chapel Hill.

From fall 1980- present he has actually been Assistant Professor to Professor of Sociology at Emory University. The courses he taught consist of juvenile delinquency, criminology, social research study, violence research studies (an interdisciplinary course), reason for criminal activity (graduate), managing criminal offense (graduate), biosocial bases of criminal activity (graduate), mentor sociology (graduate). Dr. Agnew was likewise the Director of the Internship Program from 1982-85
