OPEN ATTORNEY POSITION FOR THE OFFICE OF CRIMINAL CONFLICT AND CIVIL REGIONAL COUNSEL IN POLK (COUNTY) FLORIDA.

THIS APPLICANT MUST HAVE CURRENT ADMISSION TO THE FLORIDA BAR.

The main obligation of assistant local counsel is to offer extremely effective and expert representation to our customers.

Duties consist of, however are not restricted to:

a) Accepting, investigating, and preparing each case effectively and expeditiously;-LRB-

b) Advising and counseling each customer concerning plea deals, customer’s rights and choices, methods, sentencing, appellate rights, and so on;-LRB-

g) Demonstrating maturity and an expert behavior at all times;-LRB-

h) Exercising sound judgment to accomplish preferred outcomes;-LRB-

I) Handling emergency situation projects when required;-LRB-

j) Attending and taking part in training workshops, department conferences, and staffing sessions;-LRB-
