Task Description

THIS IS AN ON-SITE POSITION FOR LAS VEGAS CITY PD

Duties of the CAD Assistance Supervisor consist of however are not restricted to:

  • Offers customized technical client operations support
  • Establishes methods for executing functional performances by examining work circulations, treatments, and efficiency
  • Performs client operations policies and treatments
  • Builds and preserves favorable, reliable, and equally beneficial-working alliances with clients

Certifications:

  • Minimum of High school diploma or comparable needed, Bachelor’s degree chosen
  • 3 years of IT or public security experience
  • 3 years Computer technology, Networking, Engineering, System Upkeep experience (public security system experience chosen)
  • 3 years of Public Security Applications experience including CAD/RMS/Mobile, and other emergency situation 911 center devices considerably chosen
  • Tested performance history dealing with or releasing business software and hardware services; HP chosen
  • Experience producing favorable working relationships with clients and application end users.
  • Able to work successfully in a busy, requiring environment that frequently needs the capability to multitask.
  • Exceptional spoken and written interaction abilities.
  • Comfy working both alone and in a group environment.
  • Experience with Microsoft Windows Server and Desktop Platforms (MCSA/MCSE abilities)
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, ODBC and Ops Supervisor (SCOM)
  • Experience with Public Security Applications consisting of CAD and Mobile
  • Experience with Virtualization software application
  • Experienced with Network Load Balancing (NLB) and Clustering
  • Experience with hardware blades and Storage Location Networks (SAN); HP chosen
  • Experience with firewall programs and routers; Fortigate chosen
  • Familiarity with JavaScript,. WEB, ESRI10 X and XML
  • Capability to repair application system problems consisting of hardware, network and third-party parts
  • This position goes through operating in high security locations governed by the United States Department of Justice’s “Crook Justice Info Provider (CJIS) Security Policy” and for that reason needs effectively passing a more strict finger print background check administered by Motorola Solutions Inc. clients

Preferred Knowledge/Skills:

  • Motorola PremierOne CAD and/or RMS Experience

Standard Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3 years of IT or public security experience
  • Should have the ability to get background clearance as needed by federal government client
