Queering Criminology

Queer criminological work is at the leading edge of important scholastic criminology, reacting to the exemption of queer neighborhoods from criminology, and the oppressions that they experience through the criminal justice system.

This volume accumulates both theoretical and empirical contributions that establish the growing scholarship being produced at the crossway of ‘queer’ and ‘criminology’. Showing the variety of research study that is carried out at this crossway, the contributions to this volume provide a much deeper theoretical and conceptual advancement of this field along with empirical research study that highlights the ongoing importance and seriousness of such scholarship.

The contributions consider what it implies to be queering criminology in the present political, social, and criminological environment, and chart instructions along which this field may establish in order to make sure that higher social and criminal justice for LGBTIQ neighborhoods is attained.
