Medical Case Supervisor
Program Description:
Connecticut Group Houses serve youth and young people with developmental conditions who have actually experienced disruptive life occasions. Task Description:
The Scientific Case Supervisor helps in the oversight of the medical service arrangement and preparation element to the JRI Connecticut group houses programs. Duties consist of the advancement, application, and tracking of activities associated with the specific treatment strategy, arrangement of private and group medical services, coordination of activities with the JRI group, Department of Education, households, and other company. The Scientific Case Supervisor has a working understanding of the DCF, DMHAS, and JRI policies and makes sure the programs compliance with service preparation, arrangement, and reporting. The Medical Case Supervisor is accountable for needed customer evaluations. The position needs an individual who has outstanding spoken and written interaction, company, and group coordination abilities.
Salary variety is 45,000-55,000 depending upon licensure and appropriate experience.
Requirements:
- Minimum of Master’s degree in Social Work, psychology or therapy from a recognized college or university. Accredited or License eligible.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in private, group and household treatment.
- Experience helping with evaluations with teenagers highly chosen.
- Experience in property program or psychological health in-patient program chosen. Understanding in kid and teen advancement needed.
- Experience and/or training in dealing with populations affected by distressing tension, psychological and behavioral health difficulties, and developmental specials needs chosen.
- Experience in case management, systems of care, and record keeping chosen.
- Exceptional oral and written interaction abilities needed.
- Appropriate driving record check, Nationwide Alpha background check, State of CT criminal background check utilizing finger prints and DCF background check.
- Maintain legitimate motorist’s license.
- Able to work alone in a not being watched environment
- Capability to pass a pre-employment physical exam.
