The Department of Criminal Justice, Sociology, and Social Work in the College of Arts and Sciences looks for to employ a scholar at the rank of Assistant Professor with broad mentor and research study interests in criminal justice with a focus on policing, homeland security, terrorism, and/or other associated locations. Prospects for this position should have shown capability or capacity for quality in mentor at the undergraduate level. The effective prospect will be anticipated to teach courses within the Department, and establish courses within the Departmentï ¿ 1/2 s criminal examination and/or homeland security and terrorism concentrations. Prospects will usually teach 12 credit hours in criminal justice per term. All professors are likewise anticipated to keep an active academic research study program, in addition to trainee recommending and university-wide service duties. A Ph.D. in Criminal Justice, Criminology, Justice Studies, or in a carefully associated field is needed. ABD will be thought about if the degree is provided by the reliable date of the visit.
