Minimum Credentials
EDUCATION:
- Bachelor’s degree in a forensic science, criminology, chemistry, biochemistry, biology, social science or criminal justice field.
EXPERIENCE:
- 4 (4) years of experience in criminal offense scene examination and analysis including the recognition, collection, conservation, record keeping and assessment of proof in the assistance of police.
EQUIVALENCY( IES):
- High school diploma/GED plus 8 (8) years of the needed experience will fulfill the education and experience requirements.
- A partner’s degree or greater in any field plus 6 (6) years of the needed experience will fulfill the education and experience requirements.
- A bachelor’s degree or greater in a non-specified field plus 6 (6) years of the needed experience will fulfill the education and experience requirements.
- A master’s degree or greater in a defined field plus 2 (2) years of the needed experience will satisfy the education and experience requirements.
LICENSE( S) and/or ACCREDITATION( S):
- Legitimate motorist’s license with excellent driving record.
OTHER REQUIREMENT( S):
- Should have or have the ability to get within twelve (12) months of hire any International Association for Recognition accreditation.

- MS Workplace or comparable software application abilities.
