Victim/Witness Administrative Assistant
Scotts Bluff County is accepting applications for a Victim/Witness Administrative Assistant. This position works as the Assistant to the Victim/Witness Help System. Will require to have exceptional social abilities, a dedication to privacy, and interest in serving victims and witnesses of criminal activity. The concern of the Victim/Witness Support System is to offer exceptional service in a trauma-informed and victim-centered way that increases general victim security; minimizing injury for victims and witnesses of criminal activity; helping victims and witnesses of criminal offense with stabilization services; and helping victims and witnesses of criminal activity in browsing the criminal justice system. Being multilingual English/Spanish is a plus. Will require to take a trip occasionally to go to statewide trainings, will require to effectively finish the Nebraska Victim Support Academy and will require to pass a substantial background check. Graduation from secondary school or comparable supplemented by course operate in human services, public administration or associated field, and experience offering exceptional client service. This position is 100% grant-funded for 12 months; sustainability undergoes renewal of grant financing. This position gets approved for veteran’s choice.
