POSITION OVERVIEW

The selected candidate must provide operational support to Department of Defense HUMINT Operations. They must also perform source intelligence research and be able to identify potential overt HUMINT leads.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS)

  • Heavy use of Open Source (proven capabilities) and Non-Attribution to develop sound analysis.
  • Proven experience with partner nations and a range of pertinent stakeholders.
  • Understanding organizational and partner authorities and processes.
  • Proficiently use research tools on all available domains (JWICS, SIPRNet, NIPRNet) to conduct classified and open source research.
  • Submit name trace and de-confliction requests as required.
  • Provide detailed briefings to senior leadership

JOB REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree (preferred). Major: Intelligence, Criminal Justice, Political Science, History, Law Enforcement

Experience

Senior Level –

  • Bachelor’s AND 8 years relevant experience OR 10 years of relevant experience w/o degree
  • Excellent writing, verbal, and communication skills.

Mid Level –

  • Bachelor’s AND 5 years relevant experience OR 8 years of relevant experience w/o degree
  • Excellent writing, verbal, and communication skills.

Junior Level –

  • Bachelor’s AND 3 years relevant experience OR 6 years of relevant experience w/o degree
  • Excellent writing, verbal, and communication skills.

Specialized Knowledge/Skills Desired:

  • Successful completion of at least six years in an all-source analytic HUMINT collection or HUMINT collection support role.
