Obligations

A day in the life of a Gatekeeper at Hackensack Meridian Health consists of:

• Patrolling the school either on foot or in a car.
• Managing gain access to and vetting people asking for to get.

Certifications

• Minimum Education – High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) needed.
• Preferred education – Bachelor’s degree in National Security or Crook Justice.
• Minimum work experience– A minimum of 3 year security experience chosen. Prior police, corrections or military experience chosen.
• Preferred work experience – Health care security is chosen.
• Legitimate NJ Motorist’s License and tidy driving record.
• Excellent composed and spoken interaction abilities needed.
• Should have the ability to mean extended periods of time.
• Needs to have the ability to ascend/descend as much as 10 flights of stairs.
• Should show exceptional observation abilities for reporting occasions.
• Needs to have the ability to physically limit a person

This position is a full-time position, the officer will be needed to work weekend as part of a 5 day weekly, 8 hour schedule. Officer will have day of rests throughout the week and shift hours and shift days do not alter!
