I u2019 m going to answer this concern anecdotally. Back in high school, the only kids who saw anime were the weirdos or band kids. If you digged much deeper you would find that a decent piece of kids had actually viewed Dragon Ball Z or One Piece or Naruto as kids, and were open to enjoying it now.
