Addiction/Primary Therapist - Full-time

PRIMARY FUNCTION:

-To be accountable for the direct treatment of a designated caseload of clients who are addicted to alcohol or any other mind/mood changing compounds.

NECESSARY TASKS AND OBLIGATIONS:

-Offer group therapy to an appointed caseload.

-Offer private and household therapy.

-Finishes evaluation and admission procedure.

– Styles and executes treatment strategies and treatment strategy evaluations (TPR’s).

– Preserves contact with recommendation sources, consisting of EAP’s and Bad guy Justice recommendation sources.

-Creates and sends out Recommendation Development Reports.

-Takes part in weekly Case Conference conference for treatment evaluation of clients.

-Goes to weekly guidance.

-Takes part in personnel conferences.

– Guarantee that Seafield’s policies and treatments and federal guidelines relating to privacy of the client and their records are stuck to.

-Total client Discharge Planning/Transitional Preparation, Discharge UR, and referrals.-Perform other tasks as appointed.

EDUCATION & CREDENTIALS:

CASAC or CASAC eligible, or B/S-B/A with working understanding of compound abuse conditions.

PHYSICAL NEEDS:

• While performing this task, the worker is needed to talk and hear. Particular vision capabilities needed by this position consist of close vision, range vision and the capability to change focus.
• This is a mostly inactive function and includes sitting the majority of the time. Strolling and standing are needed periodically.
• The staff member need to have the capability to utilize a computer system keyboard, mouse, calculator, photo copier, facsimile machine, scanner and telephone.
