Description :

Responsibilities:

  • May gather information and prepare responses to data provider audits and requests.
  • Following established methods or by creating new methods, where appropriate, prepare, participate in, and report findings of operational compliance-related audits and assessments.
  • Following established methods or by creating new methods, where appropriate, conduct compliance or legal-related audits of specific processes, which can vary, in a timely fashion.
  • May coordinate analysis approaches with Compliance Management or the Legal Department.
  • Interact across internal departments including customer service, operations, and technology teams where needed to complete required compliance tasks.
  • Prepare compliance management reports, as necessary.
  • Evaluate internal controls, communications, and maintenance of documentation to ensure regulatory compliance and document integrity.
  • Provide suggestions to improve communication, testing procedures, and/or efficiency where compliance is concerned.
  • Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
  • Work under limited supervision with an understanding of the business perspective on the legal requirements.
  • Complete assigned tasks, as requested, for delivery to internal and external audiences.
  • Maintain appropriate confidentiality of client, consumer, or any other confidential information and ensure proper destruction of confidential documents.
  • Must comply with law, company policies and procedures, and the highest ethical standards.
  • Perform other duties and assist with other requests and projects as required.

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree, or certification in process or data analysis or related field is preferred.

Experience:

  • Minimum three years’ experience in the background screening industry, criminal justice field, or related experience is required.
  • Minimum two years’ experience in process assessments, analytical, research role or equivalent related experience is required
  • Familiarity with standard assessment concepts, practices, and procedures either within the company or within a comparable assessment process is required.
  • Familiarity with data privacy principles and FCRA compliance is required.
  • Effective spoken communication in English is required.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint is required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
