Job Description

ARMED SECURITY HIRE EVENT – AUGUST 30th

10am-4pm

Sign-on bonus of $1,000!

Bonus will be paid based on the following criteria:

(Sign on bonus is subject to applicable federal and state income withholdings)

  • Upon meeting all of the requirements and accepting the job offer, the bonus will be payable in the amount of $500.00, 30 days from the first day of work on site based on working in a fulltime status
  • An additional $500.00 will be paid after 120 days on site
  • Must maintain perfect attendance and follow the company handbook and policies

We also offer an Employee Referral Bonus of $1,000 for thse positions.

  • GENERAL PURPOSE AND FUNCTION:

The unarmed Custom Protection Officer (CPO) will conduct armed and/or unarmed foot and/or vehicle patrol (interior and/or exterior). Control access and egress. Monitor CCTV and alarm systems. Compose reports. Deter criminal activity and misconduct. Perform other duties as specified in post orders.

  • BASIC SITE/POST QUALIFICATIONS

Formal Education, Licenses and Certifications Required:

  • Have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Pass any State-required training or other qualifications for licensing
  • Must have a valid driver’s license if driving a company-owned or client-provided vehicle

Type and Length of Specific Experience Required:

  • Minimum two years verifiable work experience demonstrating the following:
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to maintain poise and self-control during emergency situations
  • Capability of understanding and applying written and verbal orders, and of composing reports
  • Have one or more of the following
  • Law enforcement experience (military police or civilian law enforcement)
  • Service in elite military forces (e.g. Navy SEALS, Delta Force, etc.) or combat arms
  • Graduate of police/corrections academy
  • Criminal Justice degree, Associates or higher
  • Career military

The Armed Security Officer is a deterrent to criminal activity by remaining visible and presenting a neat and professional appearance in properly worn uniform and associated equipment.

Company Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Be at least 21 years of age with high school diploma or equivalent
  • Possess effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills with ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the general public in a professional and effective manner

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. As a condition of employment, employee must successfully complete a background investigation and a drug screen in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws

Driving Positions: must possess a valid Driver’s License with at least one year of driving experience, a clean driving record (no major violations within last 36 months, no more than 1 accident in last 24 months, no more than one minor moving violation in last 24 months), a minimum level of insurance as required by Company policy, and the ability to safely operate a vehicle required. Display exceptional customer service and communication skills

  • Have intermediate computer skills to operate innovative, wireless technology at client specific sites
  • Ability to handle crisis situations at the client site, calmly and efficiently
  • Must be able to handle working with high volume general public (constantly to occasionally depending on assignment
  • Ability to provide high quality security services to protect people and property, while maintaining proficiency in the use of all assigned protective equipment, restraint devices and weapons
  • Participate in industry specific security/safety training programs
  • Able to:
  • Work in various environments such as cold weather, rain/snow or heat
  • Occasionally lift or carry up to 40 pounds
  • Climb stairs, ramps, or ladders occasionally during shift
  • Stand or walk on various surfaces for long periods of time
