WHAT IS OPS WORK?
Other Personal Provider (OPS) work is a short-lived employer/employee relationship utilized entirely for achieving short-term or periodic jobs.

POSITION DESCRIPTION:
This position lies in the North Area Detention Solutions Workplace. The incumbent will help as the Financial Intermediary in between Head Office Financing & Accounting (F&A), Regional Workplace, and centers associating with matters within the Financial program and preserve medical details personal.
Evaluations, audits, and processes all accounts payable files, to consist of, however not be restricted to acquire order getting reports, non-purchase order invoices in accordance with department and Regional Workplace treatments, and in accordance with Florida Statutes.
Keeps supplier files developing journals for all accounts, examining account info, and keeping existing details and balances on each file.

MINIMUM CREDENTIALS FOR THIS POSITION CONSIST OF THE FOLLOWING REQUIRED ENTRY LEVEL UNDERSTANDING, ABILITIES AND CAPABILITIES:
Understanding of accounting concepts and practices.
Understanding of efficient spoken, written interaction and basic organization formats, fundamental mathematics and computer system abilities.
Understanding of financial guidelines, workplace treatments and practices.
Capability to carry out standard arithmetical computations.
Capability to arrange and submit products.
Capability to put together financial information.
Capability to work separately.
Capability to interact efficiently.
Capability to develop and preserve efficient working relationships with others.
Capability to comprehend and use suitable guidelines, policies, policies and treatments associating with an accounting program.
PREFERRED CERTIFICATIONS:
A high school diploma or its comparable and 3 years of accounting or clerical accounting experience.
College education from a recognized organization can replace at the rate of 30 term or 45 quarter hours for each year of the needed experience offered such education consists of 2 courses in accounting or accounting.
Vocational/technical training in accounting or accounting can replace at the rate of 720 class hours for each year of the needed experience.
