Main Function: Supply quality education to incarcerated trainees and monitor class activities.

Certifications

Education/Certification/Experience:

Bachelor’s degree from a recognized college or university. Need to fulfill State Board for Teacher Accreditation (SBEC) requirements for location of project.

Primary or Secondary level accreditation in core discipline.

Significant Duties and Tasks:

1. Strategy and direct knowing activities of adult incarcerated trainees.

2. Follow the Windham School District (WSD) curriculum guide( s) for location of task.

3. Take part in district personnel advancement programs as needed.

4. Go to and take part in professors conferences.

5. Take part in all examinations and self-studies as needed by the Texas Education Firm (TEA) and contracting company.

6. Serve on curriculum, books and other committees as appointed.

7. Keep lesson strategies in accordance with the requirements developed by WSD policy.

8. Keep precise participation records in the way recommended by WSD.

9. Send reports as needed by program requirements and administrative demands.

10. Offer clear oral and written directions to trainees.

11. Handle trainee habits in the class that is company, reasonable, and constant in using class guidelines.

12. Develop a favorable class environment favorable to discovering and instructional development of the trainees.

25. Show development in conference appointed action strategies of the district or school enhancement strategies.

26. Establish, utilize, and examine concepts and/or ingenious techniques to enhance efficiency.

27. Carry out other responsibilities as appointed.
