Tasks: Task Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Reacts to death scenes to record, recuperate, and determine human remains, and gather and maintain physical and biological proof. While on scene, accountable for helping Decedent Transporters in assisting with control of the decedent, residential or commercial property collection, and proof collection at scenes or medical facilities.
  • Seeks Advice From other Department Divisions (i.e., photography, trace) as asked for or needed by the situations of a case to guarantee a collaborated Department action.
  • Affirms in court procedures relating to examination when essential.
  • Finds and informs households of decedents.
  • Reacts to queries from police, the media, and the general public.
  • Attends to total shift of info from shift to move and group to group.
  • Prepares and sends reports.
  • Helps with preparing and keeping emergency situation management standard procedure and carrying out training and workout programs.

Requirements: Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Emergency situation Management, Catastrophe Readiness, Public Administration, Lawbreaker Justice, Forensic Science, Biological Sciences, or associated field.
  • 2 (2) years of experience as a Forensic Private investigator or comparable.
  • Experience in broad-based emergency situation coordination, training program advancement, and/ or emergency situation training and workout coordination.
  • Present ABMDI accreditation.
  • Keep a legitimate Texas Chauffeur’s License and capability to securely run an automobile.

Understanding, Abilities, and Capabilities:

  • Understanding of criminal offense scene examination, photography, finger prints, and fundamental human anatomy.
  • Emergency situation management preparation, training, and workout coordination and advancement understanding.
  • Basic understanding of regional, state, federal government procedures.
  • Experience in the management of logistics and stock of emergency-dedicated devices and products.
  • Strong composed and oral interaction abilities with efficient company and time management abilities.
