Minimum Bi-weekly Rate of Pay: $1,78389 Bi-weekly. (In accordance with existing costs constraints, an internal promo into the position will be filled at the minimum of the pay grade or as much as 5% of the staff member’s existing rate, whichever is greater).

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

This position lies in Detention Solutions South Regional Director’s Workplace and supplies general management of the Personnel (HR) functions of the South Regional, Detention Solutions.

Handles, monitors, administers, and examines region-level HR-related activities, consisting of however not restricted to: Recruitment & Choice, Worker Relations (consisting of Efficiency Management, Discipline and Grievances), Category & Pay, Presence & Leave (consisting of Employees Settlement and Household Medical Leave), and Training.

Offers assessment, assistance, and technical help on region-level HR activities noted above to Regional Management.

Guarantees that HR functions are preserved in compliance with state and federal laws, guidelines, guidelines, and standards developed by the Florida Department of Juvenile Justice.

Guarantees that all HR/personnel activities remain in compliance with appropriate Profession Service guidelines and Master Contracts.

Evaluates HR policies and treatments to carry out and make suitable suggestions.

Establishes local operating policies and treatments to comply with state and federal laws, guidelines, policies, and standards developed by the Florida Department of Juvenile Justice.

Delegates projects to local HR personnel with proper instruction/coaching and follow-up to provide services in a prompt and precise way.

Establishes and preserves tracking systems to guarantee effectiveness of HR operations.

Prepares reactions to tasks and questions as it connects to local HR matters.

Talks To Regional Management and other Department personnel, offering suggestions concerning possible options to issues.

Goes to conferences and training as needed.

Carries out other tasks as needed.

MINIMUM CERTIFICATIONS FOR THIS POSITION CONSIST OF THE FOLLOWING REQUIRED ENTRY LEVEL UNDERSTANDING, ABILITIES AND CAPABILITIES:

A legitimate chauffeur’s license is needed.

A high school diploma is needed.

Understanding of approaches of putting together, arranging and evaluating information.

Understanding of analytical strategies.

Understanding of numerous computer system software application consisting of: Microsoft Excel and Word.

Capability to comprehend and use guidelines, guidelines, policies and treatments.

Capability to prepare reports and records.

Capability to interact efficiently.

Capability to develop and keep efficient working relationships with others.

PREFERRED CERTIFICATIONS:

A Partner’s degree from a certified college or university and 5 year of management experience.

A Bachelor’s degree from a recognized college or university can replacement for the needed experience.

Have at least 3 years of personnels experience.
