Under basic guidance of a Certified Mental Health Expert,
Carries out therapy and helpful services for psychologically ill prisoners including social abilities groups, examining treatment strategies, leisure activities, establishing and carrying out re-entry evaluation objectives.
Develop a helpful, inspirational, and restorative relationship within the criteria of a correctional environment.
Strategies arrange and lead structured programs consisting of specific and group healing services.
Supplies focus intervention in partnership with SCDC medical and custody personnel to improve abilities and reliable management of prisoners.
Helps with custody associated tasks such as transport, guidance of leisure and suicide watch.
Participate in divisional conferences and personnel training as needed.
Arrange based on vary to consist of after hours and on-site weekend/holiday protection.
This position is at CSU.
Needs to effectively finish 4 (4) week SCDC Basic Training upon hire.

State of South Carolina minimum requirements:
A high school diploma and supervisory experience in Correctional, Security or Cops work. A Bachelor’s degree in Human Providers or Lawbreaker Justice field might alternative to the needed supervisory experience. (Or an appropriate equivalency as authorized by the Department of State Human Being Resources).
SCDC minimum requirements:
A Bachelor’s degree in a human services or criminal justice field.
