Description/Job Summary

FamiliesFirst Network of Lakeview (FFN) represents a collaboration with the Department of Kid and Households (DCF) to offer a selection of foster care and associated services in coordination with network partners. The network consists of DCF, Lakeview Center (as the lead firm), judiciary, sub-contracted company, foster moms and dads, the Circuit 1 Neighborhood Alliance, company stakeholders, and the neighborhood interacting to execute the legal required for community-based care. Providers consist of: case management for out-of-home and at home positionings; foster house recruitment, training, suggestion for licensure, and assistance; adoption assistance; an independent living program; dependence court resource assistance; sub-contract management; and other services associated with mistreated and disregarded kids and their households.

Introduction

This is an extremely accountable mid – management position, which handles the work of therapists within the kid defense system. This position needs a working understanding of state and federal laws, administrative guidelines and policies relating to the objective of kid protective services, Department of Kid and Households Functional Treatments and Lakeview Operational Procedures. The incumbent will monitor case supervisors’ deal with kids and their households; work carefully and serve as an intermediary with, The Department of Kid and Households Kid Security Investigations, Kid’s Legal Provider, courts and neighborhood suppliers. The Group Manager will be a specialist in the program location appointed, utilize methodical preparation, tracking and issue resolving procedures, handle dispute resolution, establish neighborhood relations and promote the expert advancement of staff members.

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree and a minimum of 2 (2) year’s experience in human services or kid well-being programs. A Bachelor’s degree and 4 (4) years of experience in human services or kid well-being programs might be replaced. A doctorate might be alternatived to one (1) year of the needed experience.
  • The following associated degrees will be accepted: Therapy, Social Work, Human Being Solutions, Education, Human Being Sciences, Law, Behavioral Sciences, Person Advancement, Psychology, Social Policy, Sociology, Public Administration, Education, Neighborhood Advancement, Health Science, Government, and Lawbreaker Justice/Criminology.
  • Accreditation as a Kid Security Expert Manager. If not licensed, should finish accreditation within one (1) year of work.
